Embracing Culture

One of the key tenets and foundations of our Buddhist Peace School is African traditional values and concepts of “ubuntu” which underpin our interdependence and humanity. Through the preservation and promotion of African music, dance and drama we not only revive, but also promote and inculcate these values.

Our children right from kindergarten are taught through good moral values, kindness and compassion through African proverbs and right mindfulness. Our goal is to produce very compassionate and kind beings that value and uphold the true values that keep us together as human beings, and that have kept our predecessors for centuries together in peace and joy.
